Sharing a personal reflection can feel vulnerable. These guidelines explain what we publish, how we handle submissions, and how we protect the information you share with us.
What we publish
I Saw That publishes personal reflections about moments that looked different in hindsight and where the writer believes God may have been present, at work, or revealing something.
Stories do not need to be dramatic or perfectly resolved. Honest, thoughtful reflection matters more than having every question answered.
Your story remains your experience
Stories shared here are personal reflections. They are not meant to prove why something happened, speak for God with certainty, or explain another person's suffering, faith, or experience.
What happens after you submit
Every submission is reviewed before publication. A submission may be approved, edited, held for clarification, declined, or archived.
Submission does not guarantee publication. If a story is selected, the published version may be edited for clarity, length, grammar, tone, or privacy while preserving the meaning and intent of the original story.
Privacy
Your email address is collected so we can identify and communicate with you about your submission. It is never displayed publicly.
You may choose to publish using your first name or anonymously. General location information is optional.
We also use automated spam protection on the submission form to help prevent abuse of the site.
Please protect other people's privacy
Avoid including full names, private medical information, identifying details, accusations, or other sensitive information about another person unless you have permission to share it.
We may remove or generalize identifying details before publication when necessary to protect someone's privacy.
Content we may decline
We may decline submissions that are primarily promotional, abusive, defamatory, political campaigning, theological attacks, or unrelated to the purpose of I Saw That.
We may also decline stories that contain sensitive information about identifiable people when publishing them could cause harm or violate someone's privacy.
Removing or changing your story
If you have submitted or published a story and would like to request a correction, change, or removal, contact us at admin@isawthat.faith.
